I’m honored to be the endorsed Republican candidate to represent our new House District 37B in the Minnesota House of Representatives! Our new district comprises the eastern half of Maple Grove. You can see the map here.

I’m an Air Force veteran and have spent my career working in business. I’ve lived in Maple Grove since 2003, where my two boys were enrolled in our public school system from kindergarten on through their graduations from Maple Grove High School. I’ve spent a lot of time volunteering in our local community, and also briefly served on the Osseo School Board during the height of the pandemic.

I look forward to working together with you to help win a conservative majority in the House of Representatives. If we can make that happen, we will go a long way toward ending gridlock in our State and enacting policies to achieve the following:

  • Implement permanent, structured tax relief including the elimination of State taxation of Social Security benefits for our seniors, and not simply sending inflationary stimulus checks (Walz checks)
  • Support our law enforcement officers and first responders, and give law enforcement the tools and support to get convictions and tough sentences for violent criminals
  • Ensure that parents can make the choice as to where and how their children are educated, are recognized as having a say in what is in the curriculum, and that they have the final say in health matters for their child

Together with your help we will win in November!

With thanks,

John firmly supports our law enforcement officers and first responders. John believes we need to give law enforcement the tools and support they need to get convictions and tougher sentences for violent and repeat criminals. According to the Minnesota Constitution, government is instituted for the security, benefit and protection of the people. Not only are we looking to keep Maple Grove safe, but we all want to be able to go downtown to enjoy all it has to offer and feel safe there as well. Our current Administration’s policies on crime have led to unprecedented violence and lawlessness that must be stopped.

Improving Educational Outcomes:

John will work to make sure that parents can make the choice as to where and how their children are educated, and that funding follows their child. Parents must also be recognized as having a say in what is in the curriculum and that the curriculum and materials used in the classroom are available to parents at any time. John will work hard to be sure that politics are removed from the classroom.

Economic issues:

Every Maple Grove family is feeling the pinch from inflation and the rising cost of gas and energy.  John  will work to implement permanent structured tax relief for Minnesotans including the elimination of all Social Security taxes for our seniors. John will work to eliminate fraud, waste and abuse in Government, and make sure we’re being respectful and efficient with your tax dollars. Minnesota needs to do more to make our business climate more competitive so we can attract and keep workers and businesses.
